Sports Staff
The Charleston Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for Sports Staff. Under the direction and supervision of the Athletic Supervisor, the sports staff will assist in supervising the set up and tear down of sporting events. Pay scale is $15.00 - $15.25 per hour. Position includes Paid Personal Leave accrual of 1 hour earned for every 40 hours worked.
General Purpose: Responsible for the organization, implementation, and supervision of children and adult sport activities at various times of the year.
Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years of age.
Hours: Hours include afternoon/evening and some weekends. Qualified applicants can work between 10-20 hours a week depending on availability.
Physical demands: Exposure to all types of weather conditions. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. A list of other requirements such as duties, and responsibilities will be handed out at the interview or upon request.
