Job description

As the nation's premier tire distributor, ATD's coast-to-coast distribution network provides approximately 80,000 customers across the U.S. and Canada with rapid and frequent delivery of high quality tires, custom wheels and shop supplies.

Position Description: 

Conducts credit analysis and portfolio reviews to assess the financial health of individual and grouped accounts. Oversees risk evaluation for accounts facing financial distress to mitigate potential losses. Manages and monitors accounts involved in bankruptcy proceedings to ensure compliance and recovery efforts.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze US customer accounts to help mitigate ATD's financial risk
  • Review accounts that have exceeded established credit limits, provide customer credit worthiness using D&B reports, sales history, and customer payment history to aid in vetting requests for increased credit and/or payment terms
  • Provide management with recommendations based on analytics
  • Support bankruptcy notices and work with the Credit Risk Manager and Legal to administer correct steps in the process
  • Manage all communication with the 3rd party collection agencies
  • Participate in and lead/drive process improvement projects
  • Support other directives as prescribed
