Responsibilities

Oceanview Life and Annuity (OVLAC) is hiring an Internal Wholesaler Manager to join our growing team.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales by proactively and reactively marketing OVLAC as a premier provider of MYGA and FIA.  This is accomplished by developing new Agent leads and cultivating existing relationships within our distribution channels. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead and manage the Internal Wholesaling function for an assigned region, driving sales growth and increasing OVLAC’s market share of MYGA and FIA.
  • Develop, execute, and continuously refine territory-level sales strategies in partnership with Sales and National Account Leadership.
  • Oversee day-to-day sales activity, ensuring consistent execution of proactive outreach, inbound sales support, and follow-up discipline across the team.
  • Establish and deepen relationships with key agents, agencies, and distribution partners, positioning OVLAC as a premier annuity provider.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop internal wholesalers and junior team members to elevate sales effectiveness, product knowledge, and professional growth.
  • Monitor your regional performance metrics (activity levels, conversion rates, pipeline growth) and implement action plans to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Serve as a senior subject matter expert on OVLAC annuity solutions, providing advanced case consultation and sales guidance to both internal staff and external partners.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, and Sales Leadership to communicate competitive intelligence, market trends, and field feedback to influence product positioning and strategy.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent use of CRM (Salesforce) to track sales activity, pipeline management, and reporting across the team.
  • Lead and participate in high-impact initiatives including call campaigns, product launches, and strategic sales programs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Compliance, Marketing, and other business units to enhance the advisor and client experience.
  • Represent OVLAC at regional and national meetings, conferences, and webinars; support and at times lead territory presentations and training sessions.
  • Oversee the creation and delivery of illustrations and sales concepts, ensuring quality, accuracy, and alignment with client needs.
  • Identify training gaps and implement ongoing development programs to strengthen team capabilities and sales results.
  • Maintain regular communication with senior leadership regarding performance, risks, opportunities, and resource needs.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Financial services experience desired.
  • 5 years of sales experience.
  • Attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of reports, correspondence, and database.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and adapt to an ever-changing environment.
SKILLS:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point), Internet and contact management systems (Salesforce).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registration           
  • State Insurance License preferred.

LOCATION and COMPENSATION: 

 

  • This role will be based in Denver, CO. 
  • This role will be Hybrid (3x a week in the office)
  • Base compensation is expected to be $80,000 - $100,000* with the opportunity for incentive compensation including bonus compensation. 

*Salary may vary based on work experience, market conditions, location, and qualifications/training.
