Position Overview

Solace Springs Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) to join our dynamic team. This full-time position will primarily focus on providing therapeutic services to individuals facing challenges with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. The therapist will employ a variety of therapeutic techniques to explore and enhance relational and interpersonal dynamics within families, marriages, and couples, ultimately guiding clients toward recovery and improved mental well-being.

About the Organization

At Solace Springs Therapy, we believe in a holistic approach to mental health care. Located in the vibrant community of Fremont, California, our mission is to provide high-quality therapy services tailored to the unique needs of our clients. Our commitment to excellence in mental health treatment is matched by our focus on collaborative care, making us a trusted partner in the journey towards healing and recovery. As a remote facility serving schools, we reach individuals in their familiar environments, promoting comfort and openness in therapeutic settings.

Work Environment

This therapist position is designed to be remote, offering flexibility and comfort for both our staff and clients. While our therapists predominantly work from home, they will also have the opportunity to engage directly with clients in school settings, creating a supportive and familiar environment for therapy. The culture at Solace Springs Therapy is rooted in teamwork, respect, and open communication, fostering a collaborative space for both mental health professionals and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based modalities tailored to clients' needs.
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to monitor client progress, ensuring the development of effective treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that encompass short-term and long-term therapeutic goals.
  • Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights and collaborating with other professionals to refine and enhance the overall care strategy for clients.
  • Take on supervisory roles where appropriate, guiding Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, and/or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors in their clinical practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves working with individuals dealing with substance abuse issues, alongside mental health challenges, including mood disorders. Our clients vary widely, and our therapists must exhibit cultural competency and sensitivity to effectively engage with a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences. The therapist's ability to build rapport is pivotal in establishing a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications
  • Education: A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
  • License: Candidates must hold a current, valid license in good standing from the Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience is required, demonstrating expertise in therapeutic practices.
Preferred Experience
  • Two years of post-licensure experience specifically specializing in treating mood disorders.
  • Proficient in recognized evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology to facilitate effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive care.
  • A proven track record of delivering successful therapeutic outcomes in the management of mood disorders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an innate ability to connect with clients from varied demographics.
Compensation and Benefits

Solace Springs Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually for full-time positions, reflecting the experience and expertise of our staff. In addition, we provide a comprehensive healthcare benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and their families. Our employees also enjoy an employer-matching retirement savings plan, ample paid time off (PTO), and holiday pay, all designed to promote a healthy work-life balance.

Career Growth Opportunities

We are committed to supporting the long-term career aspirations of our staff. At Solace Springs Therapy, we provide dedicated opportunities for professional development and continuing education, particularly training focused on mood disorders. Employees can explore clear pathways for career advancement, enabling them to expand their roles and influence within the organization.

Why Join Our Team
  • Become a vital part of a devoted team that is passionate about helping individuals navigate their recovery journeys.
  • Engage in a collaborative and supportive environment that fosters professional growth and teamwork.
  • Experience the satisfaction of making a meaningful impact in the lives of clients through dedicated therapy and care.
  • Benefit from evolving opportunities as you enhance your skills and take on leadership responsibilities within our practice.
