Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough intake assessments and develop bespoke treatment plans based on each client’s unique needs and goals.
• Facilitate innovative and effective one-on-one as well as group therapy sessions that address a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health providers to ensure comprehensive support for clients, discussing case histories and progress in regular team meetings.
• Engage in continuous education and training opportunities to hone your skills, stay informed about industry best practices, and uphold compliance with relevant regulations.
• Spearhead initiatives to enhance service delivery and program effectiveness, utilizing data to identify areas for improvement and implement evidence-based interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work at Solace Psychological Counseling Center will focus on a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families grappling with emotional and psychological challenges. Many clients may be dealing with traumatic experiences, systemic inequalities, or major life transitions. Your empathetic and culturally sensitive approach will be key to establishing rapport and encouraging client engagement in their treatment journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• An active license/certification as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
• At least three years of direct experience in a therapeutic setting, working with individuals facing mental health challenges.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, with a talent for establishing a trusting relationship with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience using electronic medical record systems is advantageous, enhancing workflow and client documentation.
• Familiarity with group therapy settings and techniques, enabling a multifaceted approach to client treatment.
• Engagement in community outreach initiatives aimed at raising mental health awareness and client access to services.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $78,000 to $115,000, depending on experience and caseload.
