Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments that delve into clients' mental health histories, symptoms, and treatment needs.
  • Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with the individual goals and challenges of clients.
  • Facilitate individual therapy sessions while also offering couples and group counseling tailored to the specific needs of participants.
  • Implement various therapeutic interventions and methodologies, utilizing tools that may include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices to promote client growth and recovery.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client treatment and ongoing support.
  • Maintain meticulous records of client progress and treatment interventions, adhering to legal and ethical standards of confidentiality.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision, case discussions, and professional development opportunities to continuously enhance counseling skills and techniques.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in the state of Florida is required.
  • A Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • Proficient understanding of evidence-based therapeutic techniques relevant to mental health treatment.
