Position Overview

Solace Space Counseling Center is excited to announce an opening for a full-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to provide remote counseling services. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to understand clients’ mental health needs and concerns.
• Develop tailored treatment plans based on assessment results and collaborated goals with clients.
• Provide individual, couple, and family counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Document client progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic client records utilizing our practice management system.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for clients.
• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mental health counseling through continuous education and self-directed learning.
• Participate in clinic staff meetings, case consultations, and professional development workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a broad demographic, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a range of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and adjustment disorders. As an LPC at Solace Space, you will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, allowing you to develop a rich understanding of different perspectives and therapeutic needs. Your contributions will be directly reflected in the improvements seen in the client’s emotional and psychological well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in good standing with the relevant regulatory board.
• Proven experience in providing therapeutic services in an outpatient setting, demonstrating a strong grasp of various counseling modalities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to establish rapport and trust with clients.
• A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively alongside other mental health and medical professionals.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with telehealth counseling and familiarity with remote therapy platforms.
• Specialization in specific mental health areas such as trauma-informed care, family therapy, or substance use disorders.
• Background in crisis intervention and conflict resolution.

Compensation and Benefits
