Position Overview

Join Solace Sanctuary Counseling as a fully licensed Mental Health Counselor, where you will have the opportunity to provide essential psychological support to individuals and families in need. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to establish clients' mental health needs, identifying challenges and strengths to inform effective treatment strategies.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.
• Collaborate consistently with other professionals, including case managers and psychiatrists, to coordinate holistic care plans that address all aspects of the clients' well-being.
• Deliver crisis intervention and immediate support to clients experiencing acute psychological distress, ensuring they receive timely and appropriate care.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about mental health services and reduce stigma, contributing positively to public mental health education.
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely updates to reflect ongoing treatment planning and progress, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to document interventions.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and maintain thorough documentation of client progress.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in community mental health settings or telehealth environments is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, or trauma-informed care.
• Previous community outreach or public speaking experience to promote mental health awareness is an advantage.
