Position Overview

Solace Springs Therapy is looking for a compassionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor, holding credentials as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). This full-time remote position focuses on providing therapeutic support for individuals facing substance abuse disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges. You will play an integral role in assisting clients to navigate their recovery journeys and improve their overall mental well-being.

Work Environment

This role is performed remotely, allowing you the flexibility to provide care from the comfort of your own environment while maintaining effective communication with clients. As part of a team supporting a school setting, you will collaborate with educational staff, students, and families to foster a therapeutic atmosphere conducive to healing and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to the needs of clients dealing with mood disorders and substance abuse.
• Perform initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to effectively understand clients’ needs, strengths, and challenges.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that provide a pathway for client recovery and progress, revising these plans as necessary.
• Engage actively in a multi-disciplinary team process, contributing insights and recommendations to align therapeutic interventions with overall treatment goals.
• Provide supervision to Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, and Associate Professional Clinical Counselors, mentoring them in advanced therapeutic techniques and ethical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be individuals, particularly adolescents and young adults, who are coping with substance abuse and related mental health disorders. Understanding the complexities of their experiences, you will build rapport, instill hope, and guide them towards successful outcomes in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is mandatory.
• Possession of a current and valid license with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.
• A minimum of three years of experience in the mental health field, with at least two years post-licensure focused on treating mood disorders.
• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and medical teams in treatment planning.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with clients from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Expertise in utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• A proven record of delivering successful patient outcomes, demonstrating creativity and resourcefulness in navigating treatment obstacles.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
