What is an at home nurse?

At Home Nurses, also known as home health nurses, are registered nurses (RNs) or licensed practical nurses (LPNs) who provide medical care to patients in their homes. They assist with medication management, wound care, monitoring vital signs, and educating patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans. At Home Nurses help patients recover from illness or surgery, manage chronic diseases, and maintain independence while receiving care in the comfort of their own homes.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an at home nurse, and why are they important?

To excel as an At Home Nurse, you need a solid background in nursing care, patient assessment, and chronic disease management, typically supported by an RN or LPN license.
