Position Location:​ Remote

FTE:​ .25 (approximately 10 hours a week)

Position Summary

Graduation Alliance is looking for a teacher to join our team. Our ideal candidate has online or traditional high school teaching experience, with an interest in serving at-risk students.


Responsibilities

  • Review, grade, and provide timely, actionable feedback on student assignments in an asynchronous online environment.
  • Monitor student progress within the Learning Management System (LMS) and maintain accurate grade records.
  • Provide individualized academic feedback designed to improve student understanding and skill mastery.
  • Support students primarily through written communication, messaging, and structured feedback tools.
  • Collaborate with Teacher Mentors and Student Services staff to support student academic progress.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum BS or BA from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • Appropriate state-specific teaching credential.
  • Ability to get certified in additional states as needed (upon hire).


Preferences

  • Minimum 1 year experience in online teaching,
  • Strong understanding of asynchronous learning models and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
