Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging creative writing lessons for students of various ages and skill levels.
  • Teach narrative structure, character development, dialogue, poetry, descriptive writing, and other key elements of creative writing.
  • Encourage students to explore a range of genres including fiction, poetry, memoir, and drama.
  • Provide individualized feedback and revision strategies to help students strengthen their writing.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and imaginative classroom environment.
  • Facilitate writing workshops, group critiques, and publishing or performance opportunities where applicable.
  • Track student progress and communicate with parents/guardians or program staff as needed.
