The UFC is seeking a Producer to join our Emmy Award-winning production team in Las Vegas. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience producing a wide array of original programming and short form content for major sports and/or entertainment brands, across various media platforms.

This position provides creative input and execution throughout the production process, for multiple, diverse projects simultaneously, working alongside staff production personnel while managing freelance crews and vendors. This position is well-suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic and collaborative environment.

We're looking for a skilled, professional, accomplished producer who is also a creative storyteller at heart, always seeking innovative new approaches to their work.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Functions as studio producer for long-form podcast productions, executed at UFC's broadcast operations center.

  • Functions as field producer in media gathering for productions that service long form narrative productions.

  • Functions as post producer for long-form programming and digital content distributed to UFC's YouTube channel and partner platforms.

  • Produces short-form content, including promotional spots/trailers, features, opens/teases, and sizzle reels, across all media platforms.

  • Writes voice-over narration scripts for long-form and short-form content.

  • Directs talent and conducts interviews with fighters, coaches, and trainers.

  • Collaborates with a crew of cinematographers, designers, editors and associate producers on various projects, emphasizing innovative thinking and strategic risk-taking, in the field or post-production environments.

  • Interprets research and analytics to provide insight that effectively translates into the production of compelling content.

  • Engages in multiple projects simultaneously, while efficiently adhering to budgets and delivery schedules.

  • Provides guidance and editorial oversight to video editors and motion graphics designers in a post-production environment.

  • Facilitates effective communications between departments (marketing, sales, creative, PR, digital, sponsorship, etc.) and with external parties (media partners, corporate sponsors, production vendors, etc.).

  • Continually raises the bar for innovative producing and creative storytelling, and inspires others to do their best work.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years professional experience as a Producer for major media brands.

  • Demonstrable, relevant experience creating and producing compelling long form video content across multiple platforms, including but not limited to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube.

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Broadcasting, Radio/TV/Film, or equivalent work experience.

  • Proficiency in all facets of production processes, including the Adobe Creative Suite, required.

  • Proficiency in all facets of audio and video capture hardware and software required.

  • Experience in platforms related to digital distribution and data/analytics required.

  • Experience directing crew and talent is required.

  • Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed.

  • Experience in a sports environment is preferred.

  • Extensive knowledge of MMA is strongly preferred.
