About the Role
Talarico for Texas is building a people-powered movement to take back power for working Texans. We are seeking a full-time Associate Video Editor to join our communications team and support the creation of our digital video assets.
Responsibilities
  • Work with the Video Editor and high-level communications staffers to make videos that are wide-reaching, compelling, and on-message
  • Work with Campaign Photographer to review, edit, and deliver polished, color corrected photography
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create shotlists, storyboard video ideas, and brainstorm new solutions to everyday video-related challenges
  • Deliver finished, color-corrected, and captioned videos in a timely manner in accordance with internal deadlines

Requirements
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and Lightroom
  • Strong drive to learn and quick to adapt to new tools and technologies
  • Exceptional editorial judgment and an understanding of the modern media landscape, particularly social media platforms with vertical video
  • Robust interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize work across different projects on a tight schedule
  • Willingness to work some nights and weekends as required
  • No experience in politics required
