Job description

Braver Technology, a New Charter Technologies company, is seeking a Technical Consultant (in other companies this person could hold the title of Solutions Consultant, Technical Solutions Consultant, Network Consultant, IT Solutions Engineer, vCIO) to design and deliver scalable IT infrastructure and cloud solutions for clients.
In this role, you will collaborate with clients, project managers, and engineering teams to assess business needs, architect solutions across network infrastructure and cloud platforms, and lead implementation efforts using modern IT systems and tools. You will also play a key role in pre-sales activities and client engagement.
To be successful in this role, you will deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions, manage projects from design through execution, and maintain deep technical expertise across networking, cloud technologies, and systems integration. You will also contribute to accurate scoping, documentation, and continuous improvement of delivery processes.

Job Location: Remote (New England Region Only)

Salary: Starting 90k + Bonus

General job duties include:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand business and technical requirements

  • Design and propose scalable IT infrastructure and cloud solutions

  • Develop scopes of work, project estimates, and technical documentation

  • Implement and configure network infrastructure, hardware, and software systems

  • Provide technical support during and after implementation

  • Support pre-sales efforts including proposals and client presentations

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across client environments

  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high satisfaction

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

Required Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in network design, implementation, or related field

  • Strong working knowledge of network infrastructure and cloud platforms

  • Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of two relevant industry certifications

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in a client-facing technical consulting or pre-sales role

  • Strong documentation, scoping, and project estimation experience

  • Exposure to managed services environments and diverse IT infrastructures

  • Experience conducting systems assessments and technical reporting

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Ability to travel approximately 10% within the New England region
