The Role

As an Associate Technical Consultant, you’ll sit at the intersection of business, technology, and client engagement. You’ll gain hands-on experience in integration and software engineering, product delivery, and client support—helping our customers translate their strategic goals into solutions powered by Gravitate’s software. Think of yourself as a bridge: connecting client data needs to our product capabilities while ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional customer service.

What You’ll Do

  • Build, maintain, and support fully custom integrations, data pipelines and supporting processes, using Python, Kubernetes, Docker, and a modern agile engineering approach.
  • Help scale our internal integration platform, which supports hundreds of customer-facing integrations and growing.
  • Assist in the creation and execution of technical solutions for system implementations, upgrades and enhancements.
  • Build expertise about the Gravitate’s technology suite, the broader fuel supply chain, and how we meet the needs of our customers.
  • Support implementations through integrations, configurations, and technical design recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams inside and outside of Gravitate—developers, consultants, and support staff—to deliver enterprise-grade solutions and support.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into actionable implementation plans. product enhancements, and technical solutions.
  • Assist technical support requests, ensuring timely resolution or escalation, while keeping communication clear and proactive.
  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing, documentation, and continuous improvement of processes.


What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, CS, IS, or related fields.
  • Experience solving problems with a programming or scripting language – either professionally, or through personal projects or coursework.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences with clarity & confidence.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems with relentless passion.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and manage timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and committed to lifelong learning.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


Nice to Have:

  • Experience in software product development, engineering, delivery, support, or consulting (internships or early career experience welcome).
  • Experience with SQL, MongoDB, or scripting languages (Python preferred).
  • Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, or SaaS support tools (Zendesk, Jira, etc.).
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies, cloud platforms (Azure, Docker), or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in consulting or client-facing roles.
  • Knowledge of energy or commodities markets.
