Job description

Administer and support infrastructure systems in an enterprise environment. Ensure systems are configured in a manner that optimally supports the strategies of the business and continuously delivers value.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Note: Other duties may be assigned)

  • Assist with support of infrastructure systems including networking, servers, hardware and software both on premise and cloud
  • Proactively maintain infrastructure systems to ensure maximum uptime
  • Actively monitor systems for performance bottlenecks and resolve issues
  • Monitor, scan, and test systems for security vulnerabilities and resolve issues
  • Support the administration of user directory and policies
  • Assist with infrastructure support of products managed by VRA Product Teams
  • Support all client applications
  • Research, test, and install software updates
  • Create and maintain documentation for implemented solutions
  • Configure systems to adhere to SOX, PCI, and other applicable compliance initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and develop and implement solutions that drive value for the organization
  • On-call as needed to provide technical support to off-shifts
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • Associates/Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of server administration experience and supporting enterprise applications
  • Current certifications in cloud computing, modern infrastructure, or similar desired
  • Experience administering or supporting:
    • Microsoft Exchange email environments
    • Microsoft 365 services and workloads
    • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments
    • Physical server hardware, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
    • Cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
