Job description

Overview
Ensure that accurate records of scheduled time, unscheduled time, time worked, time paid, and attendance are maintained for the assigned cost centers. Provides communication linkage between Department of Nursing and Patient Services employees, Nursing Management, and nursing units in relation to staffing issues. Provide structure and support to the Department of Nursing and Patient Services and the institution by following established office procedures, having accurate documents available for staff review. TheStaffing Associate provides administrative support to achieve the organization's mission of excellent patient care and nursing's vision of setting a new standard of excellence in autonomous and accountable nursing practice committed to patient advocacy and innovative patient care in a climate of trust and collaboration.
Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Education:

  • High School Diploma Required. 

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years continuous full time work experience required.
  • Work experience in positions requiring extensive phone contact, public contact or public service strongly preferred. Computer knowledge required. 

Additional Considerations:

  • Ability to work flexible hours/shifts and rotate weekends.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal relationships and communication skills.
  • Clear speech and legible handwriting.
  • Ability to handle multiple demands / requests simultaneously with follow through.
