Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services (BGS), is seeking an Associate Software Engineer in Maryland Heights, MO. and/or Hazelwood, MO. In this role you will test software for the F-15 Mission Planning systems.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops, documents, maintains and unit tests code by utilizing software development environments and programming languages (C#, Javascript, SQL)
  • Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system.
  • Selects, tailors and deploys processes and tools
  • Performs troubleshooting of defects
  • Collaborate with others to propose solutions to problems
  • Works under general supervision
  • Integrates and compiles software components into builds. May test limited component level software in the target environment
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • 1+ year(s) of experience with Git
  • 1+ year(s) experience with Object-Oriented Programming

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 2+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of directly related work experience OR 8+ years of related, relevant experience
  • 2+ years of experience in full software development life-cycle
  • 2+ year(s) of experience with Git
  • 2+ year(s) experience with Object-Oriented Programming
  • Experience with Javascript
