A client of ours is looking for an Associate Software Engineer for a 12 month contract opportunity. Qualified candidates will have the following qualifications:
Top 3 Required Skills:
3-5 Years Experience with Power Platform, Power Automate, Power Apps, Dynamics 365
Strong C#, JavaScript/TypeScript development skills
Ability to design solutions taking into account all the aspects of Enterprise Software Development such as maintainability, cost, effort, reusability, performance and testing.
Remote/Onsite: Remote, 50 miles within Beaverton/Phoenix client office
Position Summary
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft Power Platform. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative Power Platform solutions through partnerships with business stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, other developers and leaders across multiple departments and business units. This individual will understand the importance of leading projects with a consultative approach to identifying the need, while being able to speak at a highly technical level during the solution design and development phases.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement Power Platform solutions that meet business requirements and are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
Act as the subject matter expert for Power Platform and provide guidance to other team members and makers on best practices around items such as solution design, application lifecycle management, data loss prevention and environment strategy.
Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers and business analysts to understand technical and functional requirements, and provide recommendations around the design, development, and support of new and existing Power Platform solutions, including the integration of third-party applications.
Develop and maintain technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and other design artifacts.
Ensure that Power Platform solutions are monitored, supported, and built for high availability.
Stay current with new features and capabilities in the Power Platform and make recommendations for their use as appropriate.
Mentor other team members on Power Platform development and best practices.
Requirements:
3-5+ years of experience in Power Platform solution development.
Experience with building complex Power Automate flows.
Strong knowledge of Power Apps (canvas and model-driven apps), Power Automate (cloud flows, desktop flows and business process flows), Copilot Studio (formerly Power Virtual Agents), Dataverse, and Power BI
Experience integrating Power Platform with other systems and platforms
Has strong experience in understanding and utilizing RESTful APIs and other integration techniques and tools.
Strong with PowerShell
Strong with PowerFx.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with minimal supervision
