Job description

Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following states: North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia

This position supports Bank customers by reviewing and analyzing insurance risks at the highest level of service complexity. Determines coverage placements and recommends carriers, generating new revenue through upselling and referrals when appropriate. Responsible for administrative functions and oversight to facilitate workflow. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization.


Responsibilities
  • Support & Service - Performs data entry, processing, and risk analysis to place customer coverage. Services substantial customer accounts, including high net worth clients. Identifies opportunities to support sales goals during the course of daily activities. Offers guidance on complex and escalated service issues.
  • Team Leadership - Mentors and trains team members. Assists in the communication of performance results and expected behaviors for success.
  • Collaboration - Works directly with carriers and customers in completion of daily servicing activities. Liaises with carrier support system to consolidate information and resolve policy issues. Communicates successfully with customers regarding their coverage and accounts.
  • Product Expert - Provides insurance expertise in order to meet customer needs. Recommends appropriate carrier and products to place coverage. Ensures accuracy of policies and endorsements, requesting corrections from carriers when necessary.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of experience in Insurance Industry OR High School Diploma or GED and 7 years of experience in Insurance Industry

License or Certification Type: NC Property & Casualty Insurance License

Required Skill(s): Knowledge of insurance carriers, guidelines, and products, Ability to lead team members
