Job description

Risk Intelligence Analyst - Full-Time

HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Sunstates Security is currently hiring for a Full-Time Risk Intelligence Analyst at a client site in Raleigh, North Carolina. This position offers a salary of $65,000 per year - paid weekly.

Position Overview:

This position will be focused on risk forecasting, crisis intelligence and management, corporate events risk assessments, and executive/high-risk travel support. This role involves providing focused intelligence and threat monitoring to protect the client's personnel and facilities.

Schedule:

Days and hours can vary depending on operational needs.

  • Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Closely partner with Regional Security Managers to develop Priority Intelligence Requirements for the client’s North and Latin America business operations region.
  • Conduct forecasting on geopolitical issues, analyze country threat data, and draw from a database of incidents to support the client in making informed business decisions and operations planning.
  • Effectively communicate with team members and other departments to produce actionable insights, develop data-driven solutions, and support intelligence gathering and risk analysis.
  • Support advance planning for corporate functions by providing country, regional, and event-specific risk intelligence.
  • Assess the risk of domestic and international executive travel itineraries, and monitor their safety during transit.
  • Coordinate with Regional Security Managers to develop well informed travel safety recommendations and advisories in support of client’s high-risk travel safety program.
  • Utilize social media monitoring, OSINT, and specialized protective intelligence tools to track adverse brand sentiment, protests, threats, or other emerging risks to company operations.
  • Conduct ad-hoc briefings for senior leadership on unfolding events impacting the company.
  • Author and distribute critical communications regarding alerts that have the potential to impact staff or operations.
  • Provide critical intelligence support to Regional Security Managers and business leadership during crisis management operations and coordinate with regional GSOC’s to ensure alignment on crisis response.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in history, political science, intelligence analysis, criminal justice or a related discipline OR four to six years of relevant experience in threat intelligence, risk analysis, travel risk management or related field.
  • Knowledge and understanding of key security, political, regulatory, operational, integrity and social risk issues across the Americas.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. Other relevant languages will be an asset - Spanish, Portuguese.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the intelligence cycle and structured analytic techniques.
  • Ability to find, evaluate and succinctly summarize and critically assess large volumes of information, filtering out non-relevant details.
  • Experience with OSINT methodology.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
