Job description

Work Location Geyserville
Position Purpose
The duties of a Stock Associate involve receiving, organizing and staging merchandise in the warehouse, stock rooms and retail floor. This position requires moderate to heavy physical labor, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. With minimal supervision, the Stock Associate is a self-motivated individual who meets changing priorities in the workplace with flexibility and cooperation.
Essential Duties
  • Checks inventory received against purchase order to ensure accuracy
  • Replenishes inventory in warehouse, stockrooms and retail floor
  • Keeps warehouse, loading dock and stock rooms organized and clean
  • Maintains on-going communication with Tasting Room staff regarding inventory levels, delivery delays and shipment overages/shortages
  • Shipping orders and processing online orders to wine club customers

Non-Essential Duties
  • Carries out wine and merchandise to customer vehicles
  • Performs inventory cycle counts as directed
  • Prepares wine and merchandise for shipping as needed

*Other duties may be assigned
Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience
  • Must be 16 years of age
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Fork lift certification

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to read and understand purchase orders , wine orders and shipping requests
  • Familiar with wine brands, bottle sizes and varietals
  • Demonstrates ability to use hand truck and pallet jack to move inventory
