Position Summary
The Receptionist is responsible for greeting residents, families, visitors, prospective residents, and associates in a warm, professional, and service-oriented manner while serving as the communication hub of the community.
This role provides administrative and clerical support while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and positive experience for everyone entering or contacting the community.
The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, professional, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Greet residents, families, visitors, and prospective residents warmly and professionally
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Provide information, assistance, and referrals as appropriate
  • Support daily administrative and clerical functions including filing, typing, and light bookkeeping
  • Assist with maintaining organized front desk and office areas
  • Communicate effectively with all departments and leadership teams
  • Help maintain a welcoming, positive, and hospitality-focused environment
  • Handle multiple interruptions and changing priorities professionally
  • Support resident, family, and guest needs promptly and courteously
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Qualifications
  • Previous receptionist, administrative, hospitality, customer service, or senior living experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities
  • Basic clerical and computer skills including typing and filing
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy environment
  • Compassionate and resident-focused attitude
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Professional appearance and positive demeanor

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit for extended periods
  • Occasional lifting of 1-20 pounds
  • Ability to walk throughout the community as needed
