Position: Full-time Receptionist
Location: On-site at Edgerton Care Center Edgerton, Wisconsin
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Job Summary:
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, applicants, vendors, and callers. This position ensures professional front-desk operations while providing administrative and light HR support to maintain efficient facility operations.

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be a high school graduate
  • Must have typing and organization skills
  • Must be able to meet the public
  • Must have knowledge of office equipment and supplies
  • Must have sincere desire to work with residents, staff, visitors, and family members
  • Must be able to intermittently stand, walk and sit 6-8 hours in an 8-hour day
  • Must be able to occasionally bend, squat and twist body
  • Must be able to lift a maximum of 20# with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects up to 10#
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception and work area at all times.
  • Answer and route all incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously; take accurate messages and direct calls to the appropriate department.
  • Perform general typing and clerical duties as assigned.
  • Assist with employment application processes by:
  • Providing instructions on proper completion procedures
  • Reviewing applications for completeness
  • Notifying appropriate department supervisors to coordinate interviews
  • Greet and welcome all visitors, applicants, vendors, and sales representatives in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure all visitors properly sign in and follow facility screening procedures upon arrival.
  • Assist with conducting facility tours as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to Human Resources with various tasks and projects.
  • Operate the paging system professionally when locating staff or making announcements, recognizing that all announcements are facility wide.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism, understanding that the reception area is accessible to the public at all times.
  • Support the office manager or administrator with additional duties as assigned.
