Our growing cardiology practice is seeking an experienced and dependable Medical Receptionist to join our team in Mobile, Alabama. This position plays an important role in creating a positive patient experience through professional communication, efficient scheduling, and excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate will have previous medical office experience, strong multitasking abilities, and experience with insurance referrals and patient scheduling in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
This is a full-time, day shift position with no weekends and paid holidays off.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule patient appointments and manage appointment requests
  • Obtain insurance referrals and verify active referrals
  • Maintain accurate patient registration and demographic information
  • Answer patient questions and provide excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with providers, clinical staff, and front-office team members
  • Support daily front desk operations in a busy medical office
  • Assist with administrative and scheduling tasks as needed
Qualifications
  • Previous medical office or hospital experience preferred
  • Experience with medical referrals and insurance verification preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Dependable transportation required
  • Must be comfortable working between multiple Mobile office locations as needed
