Job description

A nationwide specialty contractor seeking a Construction Account/Project Manager Associate. This individual will work with leaders in the industry to gain knowledge and skills in the areas of sales, estimating, construction management, administration, and general project management through an on-the-job training program. This is a fast-paced position working in a construction office and field environment.

A nationwide specialty contractor seeking a Construction Account/Project Manager Associate. This individual will work with leaders in the industry to gain knowledge and skills in the areas of sales, estimating, construction management, administration, and general project management through an on-the-job training program. This is a fast-paced position working in a construction office and field environment.

As a Construction Account/Project Manager Associate:

  • You will be trained to perform initial specification interpretation, take-off of quantities from drawings or by field measurement.
  • You will learn how to prepare cost estimates on assigned projects.
  • You will also learn to coordinate the accumulation of labor & material cost data while recording and maintaining such information for guidance in future estimating projects.

Required:

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in construction management, finance, business administration, or a related field
  • A combination of at least 3 years’ field construction experience plus a high school diploma will be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Microsoft Office Suite of products such as Word and Excel

Preferred:

  • Basic knowledge of the construction industry and estimating practices
  • Knowledge of on-screen takeoff software such as (OST, Imagenation, BlueBeam, etc.) and scheduling software (MS Project, Suretrak, P6, etc.)
  • Exhibit a spirit of cooperation & teamwork
  • Enthusiasm and strong work ethic
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
