Job Summary
Ontivity is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Professional Services team. This role will focus on managing and supporting national civil and electrical construction projects, with a strong emphasis on bidding, estimating, and Request for Proposal (RFP) development. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with engineering, construction, and operations teams to deliver competitive, accurate, and compliant proposals and projects.
Locations: New Braunfels, TX | Gig Harbor, WA | Arvada, CO | Three Forks, MT | Nampa, ID
What You Will Do
  • Prepare and manage construction bids and estimates for national projects
  • Lead and support RFP responses from scope review through final submission
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams during proposal and execution phases
  • Support awarded projects with budgeting, cost tracking, and change management
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders and clients to support successful outcomes

What We Are Looking For
  • 3-5 years of experience in construction project management
  • Experience with civil and/or electrical construction scopes
  • Strong estimating and proposal development experience
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead and support bidding and estimating activities for civil and electrical construction projects nationwide
  • Manage RFP responses including scope review, risk assessment, pricing strategy, and schedule development
  • Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, and finance teams during proposal and project execution phases
  • Develop detailed cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and indirect costs
  • Support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control activities after award
  • Track project performance metrics and support change management processes
  • Maintain proposal and project documentation in accordance with company standards
  • Assist with continuous improvement of estimating tools, templates, and processes

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of construction project management experience
  • Experience with civil and/or electrical construction projects
  • Strong background in cost estimating, bidding, and RFP support
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating/project tracking tools
  • Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in telecommunications infrastructure construction
  • Familiarity with national, multi-site construction programs
  • Working knowledge of scheduling software and cost control systems
