Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Programmer Analyst in Juno Beach, FL.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build automation for internal customers to eliminate manual repetitive tasks
* Extract and validate data from various systems using data interfaces and API
* Transform extracted data, associate data sets and load it efficiently into relational databases, ensuring data integrity and optimization
* Perform data analysis to support business operations, decision making, and strategic initiatives
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and data engineering, to ensure seamless data flow and integration
* Conduct regular data quality assessments and implement necessary measures to maintain and improve data accuracy, consistency, and reliability
* Develop, document, and maintain automation and ETL processes, methodologies, and best practices
* Provide support and training to end-users and stakeholders on data extraction, reporting tools, and analytical methodologies
* Stay updated with advancements in AI, data analytics technologies, and industry best practices to continuously enhance data analysis capabilities
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering and/or using automation tools
* Strong modeling and development experience with multi-dimensional (OLAP) and relational (OLTP) databases
* Proven experience using Power Platform tools including PowerApps and Power Automate
* Strong proficiency in data ingestion tools including R script, Alteryx, SSIS, Python
* Exposure to building visualization using Power BI and QA/testing of user interfaces
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL and multi-dimensional models built using SSAS, SAP BW, GEP smart, Redshift cluster, etc.
* Experience in the energy sector or utility industry
* Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
* Understanding of data governance and compliance standards
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
