Job Summary

Job Title:                     Pricing Coordinator

Reports to:                  Guest Service Department Manager

AVAILABILITY NEEDED FOR ROLE: M-F 4AM

Responsible for working closely with all Pricing associates, vendor partners, Guest Service Manager, Store Directors and Festival team members in an effort to ensure all company policies and procedures are being followed. Will provide controlled processes and procedures to ensure department goals and objectives are being obtained.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reinforce Festival culture, customer service, and performance expectations to all pricing associates.
  • Provide consistent practices within the pricing software that supports Festival Foods price image.  Investigate and resolve inaccuracies; respond with clear and honest feedback.
  • Maintain adequate staff levels by interviewing applicants and extending job offers when necessary
  •  Coach and train all new pricing associates on the policies and procedures pertaining to the execution of department standards.  This includes, but is not limited to, SMS pricing software, pricing handhelds and Nexgen 365.
  • Be an active participant in Performance and Development Summary and annual goal setting for yourself and members of the pricing team.
  • Communicate and collaborate with the Pricing Support Team to keep the pricing manual and sign program current.
  • Finalize and approve weekly work schedule for pricing associates   Write and execute weekly department schedule based on department needs. Annual weekly hours will be supplied by the business.
  • Document violations of company policies/procedures by pricing associates and conduct appropriate corrective action, up to and including termination
  • Hold department managers and vendors accountable for meeting pricing standards within your store.  Work directly with department manager and Store Director to ensure Standard Operating Plans are being executed. 
  • Review verification results on a weekly basis to determine where gaps may exist.  Address any incorrect stocking issues with corresponding department manager.  Communicate results to Pricing Support Team.
  • Assist guests with finding items they are looking for while on the sales floor
  • Address guest concerns and resolve issues when a guest is not satisfied.
  • Use the Boomerang Basics to coach and develop all team members, and to prepare associates for advancement opportunities.
  • Contribute to overall cleanliness of the department by picking up, organizing, and cleaning work areas.
  • Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences

  • High School Education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers and all personnel.

  • Basic knowledge in computer functions and Microsoft Suite products; including Outlook, Excel, and Word

  • The employee must possess the ability to stand for long periods of time.  Requires fine finger and broad manual dexterity.
  • The position requires frequent bending at or below waist level, kneeling and reaching above shoulder level
  • The position requires the employee to lift up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures

WORK SCHEDULE

The Pricing Coordinator is a full-time position. The work schedule will include daytime shifts; 7:00 AM-4:00 PM, occasional evenings/weekends, and Wednesdays starting at 3:00 AM.
