Weโ€™re looking for a Planner I to support day-to-day production execution by developing and maintaining short-term production schedules aligned with operational priorities. This role ensures timely order release, monitors material availability, and partners closely with operations to resolve scheduling issues and disruptions. The position leverages ERP systems and basic analytics to track performance and address discrepancies. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You will get to:

  • Develop and maintain a rolling 5-week production schedule aligned with operational priorities and established planning processes.
  • Execute delivery order transactions and release manufacturing orders in the ERP system to support dally production cadence.
  • Communicate scheduling priorities and updates to operations and supervisors to ensure alignment.
  • Monitor material availability and proactively escalate shortages to the appropriate teams.
  • Adjust production schedules to accommodate work-in progress (WIP), shelf-life constraints and changing operational needs.
  • Resolve day-to-day scheduling conflicts and escalate production disruptions as needed.
  • Support KPI tracking and reporting through DMS participation and assist in investigating and resolving schedule discrepancies and material issues using ERP and data analysis tools.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and improved scheduling efficiency and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Have regular and reliable attendance on a full-time basis.
  • Be responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflect positively on the company and is consistent with the companyโ€™s policies and practices.
  • Maintain transparent communication. Appropriately communicate organization information through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, email, and regular interpersonal communication.
  • Provide oversight and direction to the team members in accordance with OFDโ€™s policies and procedures.
  • Embody OFDโ€™s cultural values and aligns daily actions with department and company culture.




Oregon Freeze Dry has office, manufacturing and outdoor workspaces where this position is required to access and work. Employees will be exposed to varying plant conditions including extreme temperatures, fumes, dust, wet and dry conditions, moderate to high noise. Employees may utilize a variety of tools, equipment or machinery. The work environment is fast paced; employees will perform tasks while experiencing numerous interruptions. This position has the utmost responsibility for compliance with the rules and regulations regarding a safe and healthy work environment relative to their actions and conduct; this includes the ability to effectively use Personal Protective Equipment. While performing the job duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use English written and oral communication skills.

Employees may be required to travel to different work locations by personal car.




We are looking for someone who has:


  • Generally, a minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience in production scheduling with a bachelorโ€™s degree in supply chain management, business management, or similar.
  • Basic understanding of production planning, scheduling, and materials flow
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and order transaction processes
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with operations and cross-functional teams
  • Basic analytical skills, including Excel and data interpretation

  • Problem-solving skills to address scheduling conflicts and material issues.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data and transaction execution
  • Ability to identify issues (e.g., shortages, disruptions) and escalate appropriately
