Job Description Summary
The Associate Global Product Manager - Ultra-premium CT is an execution-focused role responsible for supporting the commercialization, lifecycle management, and operational integrity of highly complex CT products.
This position partners closely with engineering, supply chain, lifecycle, and commercial teams to ensure accurate product configurations, documentation, and readiness for global markets.
This position is not designed as a training or entry-level development role; candidates are expected to contribute independently from the start and manage detailed product operations in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.
At the same time, this role provides a strong entry point into product management, offering meaningful ownership while also providing the opportunity to participate in and gain exposure to roadmap development, go-to-market strategy, and customer insights.
The role involves significant collaboration with global teams, particularly in China, and requires flexibility to work across time zones.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
The Associate Global Product Manager will work alongside the Global Product Manager and collaborate cross-functionally with product engineering, marketing, clinical applications, lifecycle, accessories, service teams, and regional commercial teams.
Core Responsibilities (Execution & Commercialization)
  • Execute detailed product operations including configuration management, documentation accuracy, catalog creation, and quoting system enablement, ensuring end-to-end commercialization readiness
  • Manage commercialization of product programs including:
    • Product Configuration Master (PCM)
    • BOM structure accuracy
    • ICV, TP, PSI code creation and management
    • BCAT (catalogue) activation
    • Product descriptions and validated accessories inclusion
    • Apttus quoting activation and accuracy
  • Work with lifecycle team to drive install base upgrade success across all regions
  • Drive product and component End Of Life (EOL) milestones
  • Drive critical component and part lifecycle management including:
    • Phase-in/phase-out planning
    • Backlog conversion accuracy
    • Forecasting alignment
    • Manufacturing and supply chain coordination
    • Regional communication
  • Drive evaluation milestones (mE), including:
    • Contract development and execution
    • Stakeholder coordination
    • Customer feedback sessions
    • Post-evaluation reporting
    • Conversion to commercial solutions

Cross-Functional & Developmental Exposure
  • Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) programs and support product development through commercial launch
  • Contribute to roadmap planning discussions, go-to-market strategy development, and customer research activities
  • Collaborate with supply chain on demand planning, procurement, production, and fulfillment
  • Train internal teams on product features, releases, and in-field upgrade strategies
  • Provide timely support for customer issues, concerns, and escalations
  • Develop understanding of total product cost structure including sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, installation, and service
  • Support clinical development activities including user materials and technical validation
  • Contribute to marketing-related activities including launch planning, positioning, and product messaging (supporting role)

Additional Responsibilities
  • Support global sales activities including presentations and roadmap discussions
  • Contribute to special projects as assigned by leadership

  • Candidates are expected to contribute independently and take ownership of core responsibilities early

  • The role involves extensive collaboration across a large, matrixed organization with many cross-functional stakeholders
  • Requires flexibility to work across global time zones, with the majority of collaboration (80-90%) with China-based teams
  • Ideal candidates are interested in product management and motivated by developing deep expertise in product operations and commercialization while growing into broader product responsibilities over time

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business, marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in medical imaging, medtech, or technical product-focused roles (engineering, program management, product operations, or similar)
  • Proven ability to manage detailed, execution-heavy work in complex product environments
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience at GE HealthCare or familiarity with GEHC systems and processes
  • Experience with internal tools such as MyWorkshop or similar product lifecycle/configuration systems
  • Experience in Computed Tomography (CT) or medical imaging modalities
  • Engineering or highly technical background
  • Experience supporting product commercialization, NPI, or lifecycle processes
  • Experience working in global environments with cross-time-zone collaboration
