Job description

About the Role

We're seeking an Associate Product Manager to drive high-impact initiatives across our Ads organization. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, analytics, and engineering with ownership across our entire ads portfolio from day one. You won't be siloed into a single feature; you'll drive initiatives that touch Ads Manager, creative workflows, mobile app install, ecommerce, CTV, measurement, and strategic partnerships.

You'll operate with significant autonomy in a fast-paced environment, working directly with leadership to shape product direction across AppLovin's advertising ecosystem.

A Day in the Life
  • Design and launch new advertiser experiences across our ads products, including creative-first workflows, campaign management tools, and new ad formats.
  • Own advertiser pilot programs by identifying early adopters, coordinating feedback across Product, Engineering, Design, and Client Strategy teams, and measuring uplift in key KPIs like usage and adoption.
  • Experiment with ad experience formats and analyze performance data to determine what drives better outcomes for advertisers and users.
  • Define success metrics and evaluate product performance through rigorous experimentation and A/B testing.
  • Build analyses using SQL to understand advertiser behavior, product usage, campaign performance, and revenue impact.
  • Identify product gaps and growth opportunities, develop product recommendations, and influence roadmap decisions through quantitative data, customer feedback, and market insights.
  • Help scope and launch integrations with third-party measurement, attribution, and ecommerce platforms.
  • Partner with Engineering, Product Design, Business Development, and Growth teams to drive initiatives from concept through launch including ideation, scoping, prototyping, QA testing, gathering client feedback, and post-launch measurement.
  • Monitor key business metrics, investigate performance trends, and develop recommendations that influence product strategy.
The Impact You'll Make
  • Drive measurable improvements in advertiser adoption, engagement, and product usage.
  • Shape the evolution of AppLovin's advertising platform through experimentation and data-driven decision making.
  • Influence product strategy across mobile, ecommerce, and CTV advertising products.
  • Help advertisers achieve stronger outcomes through improved workflows, tools, and measurement capabilities.
  • Build scalable frameworks for experimentation, product measurement, and feature rollout.
Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 2-4 years of post-graduation experience in product, business operations and analytics, management consulting, investment banking, or investing.
  • Strong SQL skills and proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python strongly preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to independently scope ambiguous problems, design analyses, synthesize findings, and present recommendations.
  • Strong track record of driving measurable business impact through data-driven decision making.
  • Highly analytical with excellent problem-solving skills and business judgment.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with significant ownership and autonomy.
  • Strong communicator who can influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Naturally curious, proactive, and motivated by solving complex business problems.
