Your Mission

Activision is looking for an Associate Product Manager (Call of Duty) focused on live service engagement; helping deliver engaging player experiences all year long, fostering continued growth of one of the largest franchises in entertainment. The successful candidate must be able to work cross-functionally in a highly matrixed organization and will be a key driver of live services across multiple titles. This individual will play an integral role in helping deliver day-to-day business performance, while being the evangelist for the brand, and voice of the player.

This role is based in our Santa Monica, CA office and follows an onsite work schedule of four days per week. Work arrangements may change at the company's discretion to meet business needs.

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Engagement: Develop and drive engagement strategies for Call of Duty, helping drive sustainable player growth. Assist in planning weekly playlists, in-game content, and live service beats across the franchise.

  • Data Analytics & Planning: Partner with senior managers and analytics teams to define KPIs, support data visualization needs, and contribute to A/B test design and prioritization.

  • Performance Tracking: Monitor performance of live service initiatives and promotions. Build post-launch analyses and recommendations to inform future strategy.

  • Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the player journey. Help craft best-in-class messaging across surfaces, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and optimization for conversion and player satisfaction.

  • Business Opportunity Analysis: Identify growth opportunities using both quantitative and qualitative insights. Develop materials that drive strategic recommendations and innovative solutions.

  • Player Champion: Represent the player perspective internally, advocating for a fan-first approach across live operations and post-launch planning.

  • Competitive Intelligence: Monitor industry trends and competitive benchmarks across publishers, titles, genres, and business models to inform strategy.

Player Profile

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3-6+ years of product management, finance, consulting, or similar experience, preferably from gaming (console, PC, or mobile); entertainment; technology; or digital consumer products.

  • Candidates who demonstrate strong impact, problem-solving ability, and analytical skills may be considered even with fewer years of experience.

  • Familiarity with data analysis, UX/UI, game systems design, and A/B testing.

  • Ability to balance a data-driven mindset with creative problem solving, while maintaining a player-focused perspective.

  • Passionate about games. Strong understanding of the latest gaming systems and industry trends.

  • Proven track record as a strong team player, with strong verbal and communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally across multiple disciplines.

  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written skills.

  • Experience with creating PowerPoint presentations and a working proficiency of Excel.

  • Self-starter and motivated to work within a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task with demonstrated performance of managing multiple projects at once.

  • Proficiency in narrative building with the ability to create compelling presentations.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or similar field

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $94,580.00 - $174,988.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role's range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
