Job description

Job Title: Associate Product Manager II, Regulated Gaming Solutions
Location(s): Tustin, CA - Onsite
Compensation: $75,000-$85,000
About this position:
Advantech is seeking a dynamic and strategic Associate Product Manager II to lead the lifecycle management and go-to-market execution of our dedicated gaming computing platforms (DPX series). This role is pivotal in aligning our industrial computing platforms with the evolving needs of global gaming and lottery clients, driving innovation and growth in a highly specialized vertical.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the product lifecycle management of industrial gaming platforms, including the active phase-in of new Gaming(DPX series) platforms and the seamless phase-out of legacy hardware.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including application engineers, supply chain, procurement, quality control, and manufacturing, to ensure timely project development.
  • Drive product evangelism for the gaming product line by collaborating with marketing on promotional initiatives and actively participating in industry trade shows
  • Collaborate closely with Key Account Sales and Business Development teams to align internal product capabilities and pricing strategies with key gaming accounts.
  • Manage product documentation, internal database maintenance, product change notices (PCNs), last-time-buy notifications, and phase-in/phase-out communications.
  • Address product and project-related quality issues by collaborating with the quality department, HQ product teams, and engineering teams to resolve challenges effectively.
  • Due to collaboration with teams in Taiwan and the UK, occasional meetings outside normal business hours may be required.

Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in product management, project management, or product engineering within the PC industry or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of PC hardware, related technologies, and current industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including engaging with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Collaborative team player with the capability to drive execution across departments with a proactive mindset and the ability to execute tasks efficiently and independently.
  • Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, processes, plans, and programs.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • A solid understanding of computer hardware (x86) is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze data, track partnership performance, and report on key metrics and KPIs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Experience with Salesforce.com and SAP is a plus.
