About this position

Advantech is seeking a dynamic and strategic Associate Product Manager II to lead the projects and go-to-market execution of Arm-based product line. This role is pivotal in aligning internal capabilities with ecosystem partners (Qualcomm, NXP, and MediaTek) to drive innovation, growth, and customer success.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Arm-based solution projects to support product development and successful time-to-market execution.
  • Manage product phase-in and phase-out processes, including announcements, documentation updates, and database maintenance.
  • Address product and project-related quality issues by collaborating with the quality department, product teams, and engineering teams to resolve any challenges effectively.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including application engineers, supply chain, procurement, quality control, and manufacturing, to ensure timely project development.
  • Communicate with overseas counterparts in Taiwan and China regarding product and project activities. Due to global collaboration, occasional meetings outside standard business hours may be required.
  • Co-develop and promote joint offerings by working closely with marketing teams and ecosystem partners.
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in product management, project management, or product engineering within the industrial PC industry or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of Arm-based architecture, Linux operating systems, and current industry technologies and trends.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including engaging with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Collaborative team player with the capability to drive execution across departments.
  • Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, processes, plans, and programs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • A solid understanding of computer hardware (especially arm-based solutions) and a basic knowledge of software is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze data, track partnership performance, and report on key metrics and KPIs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Oracle PLM, SAP, Salesforce.com, or other CRM platform is a plus.
