The Department of Public Works Engineering Division is seeking a qualified professional to join the Construction Services Section.
This team plays a critical role in delivering both maintenance and capital improvement projects, supporting all phases from planning and design through construction management. This position serves in a construction manager capacity, providing leadership and oversight of project delivery, including contractor coordination, schedule and budget management, quality assurance, and compliance with County standards and regulatory requirements. The Construction Services Section is responsible for annual maintenance program management, engineering, inspection, coordination, and successful delivery of infrastructure projects that maintain and enhance El Paso County's transportation network, including roadways, bridges, pedestrian facilities, and stormwater systems.

This position performs a variety of routine, technical, and professional engineering duties in the field of civil engineering, such as planning, design, and project management in accordance with civil engineering principles and practices as well as County criteria. Work will be performed under the direction and supervision of a licensed professional engineer. May be assigned to Development Review, Construction Services, Capital Projects, Traffic, or Stormwater.
