Ezee Fiber is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Coordinator responsible for supporting and implementing environmental, health, and safety programs across fiber network construction, field operations, and corporate facilities. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations while promoting a proactive safety culture across all operational teams.
The HSE Coordinator will partner closely with construction leadership, field operations teams, contractors, and warehouse personnel to identify potential hazards, conduct safety training, and implement best practices that support safe and efficient fiber network deployment. This role plays a key part in ensuring regulatory compliance, minimizing workplace incidents, and supporting continuous safety improvement throughout the organization.
 

• Support the implementation and enforcement of EHS policies, procedures, and safety programs in accordance with OSHA, DOT, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct routine job site safety audits and inspections for fiber construction, OSP deployment, and field operations activities.
• Identify workplace hazards and partner with operational leaders to develop corrective and preventative actions.
• Coordinate and facilitate safety training programs for employees and contractors, including topics such as hazard communication, fall protection, PPE usage, and safe work practices.
• Assist in incident and accident investigations, including root cause analysis, documentation, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of safety inspections, incident reports, training records, and compliance activities.
• Monitor safety performance metrics, analyze trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Support development and implementation of emergency response procedures and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with construction, network operations, and warehouse teams to ensure safe handling of materials, equipment, and field operations activities.
• Stay informed of industry best practices, OSHA regulations, and safety standards related to telecommunications and construction environments.
• Promote a culture of safety and accountability by encouraging employee participation in safety initiatives and hazard reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support safety compliance and operational excellence.
 

Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, safety, or a related field is preferred. Minimum 2+ years of experience in environmental health and safety coordination, preferably within telecommunications, utility, construction, or infrastructure industries.
• Experience supporting field operations or construction job sites strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
• Familiarity with fiber construction, outside plant (OSP) environments, or utility safety practices is a plus.
• Ability to conduct safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and influence employees at all levels.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
• Other relevant environmental or safety certifications

The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.
