Medical Assistant - Xray perform administrative and clinical duties under the direct supervision of a medical provider - physician, physician assistant or nurse practitioner - in the medical office setting.
The Medical Assistant works closely with the physician in the office clinical setting, assists with direct patient care, and serves as the clinical liaison between physician and patient and between physician and the office staff and offers the added skill of providing the radiology function. The incumbent is responsible for promoting communications among all care providers, patients, and office staff regarding the care plan for the patient as defined by the attending physician. The individual attends to patients utilizing the age appropriate principles of growth and development for patients of all ages according to the practice.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Graduate of a medical assistant program (or) one year as a Medical Assistant
  • One of: LXMO or LXMOT or RAD or RADT - Must obtain RAD within 6 months of hire if currently hold RADT.

Desired:
  • One year as a Medical Assistant
  • Bachelor's degree Radiologic Technology
