Description

Centennial Technologies is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Junior Sales / Business Development Associate to support business development, pipeline growth, and client engagement activities.

This role will focus on identifying opportunities, supporting capture efforts, and maintaining relationships with prospective and existing clients.


The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and eager to build a career in federal sales and business development within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Support identification and tracking of new business opportunities across federal agencies and partnersย 
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the business development pipeline, including opportunity research and qualificationย 
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, partners, and upcoming opportunitiesย 
  • Support outreach efforts including emails, LinkedIn engagement, and meeting coordination with prospective clientsย 
  • Assist in preparing business development materials such as capability statements, presentations, and briefingsย 
  • Coordinate and support meetings, capture activities, and follow-ups with clients and partnersย 
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, opportunities, and pipeline activities in CRM or tracking toolsย 
  • Support proposal and capture teams with administrative and coordination tasks as neededย 
  • Track and report on business development activities, pipeline status, and key metricsย 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related fieldย 
  • 0-2 years of experience in sales, business development, marketing, or related roles (internships acceptable)ย 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional presenceย 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)ย 
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesย 
  • Ability to conduct research, synthesize information, and communicate insights clearlyย 
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow in a client-facing roleย 
  • Must be a U.S. Citizenย 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to federal contracting, government sales, or professional services environmentย 
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) or pipeline tracking tools (e.g., GovWin, SAM.gov)ย 
  • Experience supporting proposals, capture efforts, or client engagement activitiesย 
  • Interest in growing into capture management, account management, or sales leadership rolesย
