  • Prepare and deliver clear, concise case updates for legal leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Support the development of litigation strategy through all phases of a matter, including pleadings, fact development, discovery, mediation, dispositive motions, trial readiness, and settlement evaluation.
  • Partner with the business to advise on the litigation implications of contractual provisions, risk allocation, dispute resolution clauses, indemnity language, and related commercial terms.
  • Provide legal guidance on document preservation, legal holds, e-discovery, information governance, and records management.
  • Coordinate internal fact gathering and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support case strategy and defensible outcomes.
  • Assist with mediation preparation, settlement negotiations, and post-resolution follow-up, including lessons learned and risk mitigation.
  • Track developments across an active litigation docket and help ensure timely, accurate internal reporting.

Compliance Responsibilities (50%)

  • Draft, revise, and help manage internal compliance policies, procedures, and governance materials.
  • Monitor and assess regulatory changes and emerging legal risks relevant to the company's operations and industry.
  • Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company's antitrust compliance program and other core compliance initiatives.
  • Conduct or support internal investigations, including fact development, witness interviews, documentation review, issue analysis, and remediation planning.
  • Partner with HR, internal audit, procurement, sales, operations, and other stakeholders on compliance-related matters.
  • Help develop and deliver practical compliance guidance and training materials tailored to business audiences.
  • Advise on escalation pathways, issue spotting, and response protocols for potential compliance concerns.
  • Assist with compliance reporting, documentation, and follow-up actions to support accountability and program effectiveness.
  • Promote a proactive, solutions-oriented compliance culture grounded in ethics, transparency, and operational practicality.
