JOB TITLE: Associate Graphic Designer

POSITION SUMMARY: Designs, creates, and delivers a variety of promotional materials to fulfill the needs of the merchandising department and the various other departments merchandising supports.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for designing new artwork for flare cards and a variety of other merchandising items.

Create promotional materials for a variety of merchandise and products used by the Sales team in the field.

Responsible for the preparation, creation, and implementation of artwork for promotional items and games.

Apply knowledge of current trends in design, type, and marketing to create unique designs for merchandising department.

Create graphic solutions for web store, print and online catalogs, promotional materials, and games.

Assists and collaborates with other Graphic Designers on a variety of design projects.

Prepares files to printer specifications Ensure brand consistency and integrity in all work Responsible for utilizing company's ERP system to capture details, descriptions, compliance requirements and other relevant information pertinent to the completion of merchandise projects.

Proofread outgoing and in-house projects to produce accurate and high-quality work.

Participate in copywriting, including creative product names, taglines and text.

Organize, maintain and archive digital files for design team use.

Collaborate on other departmental projects, as needed.

WORK LOCATION: Position is located at LBC Corporate headquarters in Lancaster, OH

TRAVEL AND WORK SCHEDULE:  Position requires a work schedule that may include occasional travel and overtime as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION: Required Education & Experience:

Associates Degree in Graphic Design or related field of study; or equivalent experience

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suites: Illustrator, In-Design and Photoshop, Web Design software knowledge and Microsoft Office software knowledge.

Strong portfolio that demonstrates design and color sense.

Demonstrates the ability to work quickly and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. 

Physical/Other Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older

Must pass a criminal background check

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

Minimum of 2 years experience in Graphic Design or Advertising Field/Marketing, preferred

Must be able to effectively and clearly communicate

Ability to work independently.

Ability to pickup projects in mid-stream and finish with consistency.

Demonstrates the ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge to projects, as needed.

Ability to take ideas and transform these ideas into innovative design products within the industry.

Meeting the needs of the customers based on individual needs. Possess strong illustrative and writing abilities

Strong problem-solving skills

Ability to collaborate with others on projects.

Understand the process of projects from conception through completion.
