Job description

Demand Planner

Location: Buffalo, NY, US 14213

Purpose Statement

The Demand Planner's responsibility is to support the development of divisional demand plans using our statistical models, while executing an Integrated Business Planning process with finance, purchasing, production and deployment of product.

  • Provide optimization of costs and service in support of company profitability plans.
  • Understand variability of product categories and develops robust set of corresponding statistical models
  • Develops statistical processes to support development of long range plans
  • Develop demand plans at the division, product, and location level
  • Conducts trend analyses and facilitates discussions with marketing and sales to drive consensus
  • Facilitates demand review and consensus meetings and supports development of Sales and Operations Planning decks
  • Utilizes accuracy and bias results to improve site level forecasts
  • Analyzes and reviews the divisional demand plans with Finance, Marketing and Sales
  • Ensures demand alignment with long term strategic plans
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management or related field, with 3+ years of statistical forecasting and supply chain experience
  • MBA preferred
  • Professional certification preferred. (e.g.; APICS)
  • Statistical Forecasting and Model development
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, distribution and customer service
  • Strong written, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Sales and Marketing functions preferred
  • Experience in Integrated Business Planning
  • Strong PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint (Access preferred) and advanced proficiency in Excel required
  • Strong Administrative skills and attention to detail
  • SAP or related systems experience preferred
  • Experience with advanced ERP planning systems (BW, SAP, APO) preferred
Compensation

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$78,009.00-$105,542.00
