Job description

Associate, Data Analytics with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Dallas, Texas. Provide end-to-end data analytics and reporting support to the Firm’s global headcount and talent processes, including project planning, requirement gathering, report build, data governance, and quality control. Leverage advanced knowledge of overall suite of Business Intelligence (BI) tools including SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, and SAP Business Objects.

Requires: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Technology Management, or related field with one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Technology Management, or related field with three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role.

Prior work experience must include one (1) year (with a Master’s degree) OR three (3) years (with a Bachelor’s degree) with: using advanced visualization tools, including experience with Tableau or Power BI, to effectively provide insights from very large datasets; building automated logic-based workflows in Alteryx or similar ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools; using advanced Excel tools, including building complex formula, such as using pivot tables, macros, or similar advanced excel tools; working on advanced research design, analytics, or decision science utilizing statistical techniques, including experience in predictive modeling using regression, forecasting, A/B testing, data mining, or similar advanced statistical modeling; mining through large unstructured sets of data, analyzing them and presenting results that deliver clear insights or story; and using relational database systems to write and modify SQL queries and extract existing data to calculate and format into ad-hoc metrics.
