We are currently seekinga senior associate dataanalystto help us collect, transform and extract meaning from dataforthe Global Technology Services(GTS)Control Towerteam at State Street.The positionperforms a wide range of activitieswithexperts fromGTS, business intelligence,business analysis,data engineering,process engineering,governance, anddata analyststo collaboratively solvea widearrayofcomplextechnicalproblems.

TheGTSControl Tower teamis an exciting and growing areaof State Streetwith unique insight into the whole spectrum of ourdata,metrics, and dashboardsat State Street.This name change reflects the work we are actively doing across GTS: integrating dependency management, business analysis, process design, and governance to transform data into action and keep remediation effortsflying smoothly.

Our core focus is ontransforming data into actionable insights.Our goal is to enable GTS Leadershipto accelerate progress against key strategic initiatives across GTS and to drive results.

CoreResponsibilities

• Report & Dashboard Development:Design, develop, and maintain highquality,accessibleinteractive Power BI dashboards and reports that clearly communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and business insights.

• Data Modeling & Transformation:Build and optimize semantic data models, including relationships, calculated columns, and measures using DAX. Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) usingPython andPower Query (M).

• Data Source Integration:Connect, consolidate, and manage data from multiple sources such as SQL databases, Azure services, Excel, and other enterprise systems into reliable, wellstructured datasets.

• Performance Optimization:Tune data modelsandDAX calculations to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and user experience.

• Security & Platform Administration:Implement and maintain rowlevel security (RLS), manage Power BI workspaces and apps, and support capacity and governance best practices within the Power BI Service.

• Stakeholder Collaboration:Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into analytical solutions, and deliver actionable, decisionready insights.

• Documentation & Standards:Create and maintain clear documentation for data models, transformation logic, report definitions, and operational procedures to support transparency and longterm maintainability.

Requirements

• An online portfoliowith exampleswith nonconfidential datathat demonstrates youranalysis skills

• Someexperience withMicrosoft Power BI,DAX,Power Query,M, ETL,Python,PySpark,SQL

• ABachelor'sdegree in adata analytics,data science,computer scienceor equivalent experience

Salary Range:

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
