Document Controller
Location: On-site at active construction site
Salary Range: $70,000 - $105,000/year ($34-$52/hour)

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Controller to join our electrical contracting team. This is an on-site position located at an active construction site where you'll play a critical role in managing project documentation and ensuring seamless information flow throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain all project documentation, including drawings, submittals, RFIs, and correspondence
  • Implement and enforce document control procedures and filing systems
  • Ensure proper version control and distribution of all project documents
  • Maintain document workflows and track document status from receipt through approval
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors for timely document processing
  • Create and maintain project filing systems (both digital and physical)
  • Generate document control reports and maintain logs
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and company standards
  • Archive and retrieve project documents as needed
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in document control, preferably in construction or electrical contracting
  • Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite
