We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate to join our ETF Service Delivery Team.  The position is located in Lake Mary, Florida (4 day in office expectation).

 In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Conduct collateral movement for ETF settlements across multiple domiciles.
  • Coordinate ETF basketlevel settlement monitoring, communication with Authorized Participants (APs), and cash wire processing.
  • Engage with APs to coordinate collateral calls for delayed settlement ETF creates.
  • Receive and release funds to segregated custody accounts; process wires and confirmations.
  • Perform intraday monitoring and exception handling through market close to support timely issuance of ETF units.
  • Track and return excess collateral accurately and promptly; ensure precision in cash movements.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and evidencing for operational steps, approvals, and communications.
  • Escalate breaks and risk items; coordinate resolution across APs, Custody, and ETF operations.
  • Serve as a primary operational contact for APs on collateral logistics and settlement readiness.
  • Operate within defined control frameworks, dualcontrol processes, and approval checkpoints.
  • Regularly interact with stakeholders to answer questions and resolve issues regarding fund balances and processes.
  • Assist in evaluating GAAP and/or IFRS rules to determine the impact of new regulations on BNY Mellon fund accounting practices.
  • Provide secondline review and authorization for collateral calls, releases, and wire actions.
  • Validate reconciliations, settlement readiness, and exception resolutions; ensure control compliance.
  • Own escalation decisions, risk assessments, and endofday attestations; oversee auditability and documentation quality.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of total work experience preferred.
  • Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm preferred.
  • Ability to provide guidance to less experienced team members.
  • May have people management responsibilities in some geographies.
  • Experience in ETF operations, custody, collateral management, or securities settlement (Canadian market knowledge is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of inkind ETF creation/settlement workflows and cash collateral mechanics.
  • Proficiency with operational systems; experience with wire processing and reconciliations is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail, control mindset, and documentation rigor; comfortable with intraday monitoring through market close.
  • Strong communication skills to manage AP interactions and crossfunctional coordination.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage exceptions, and make riskaware decisions under time constraints.
