Associate, Client Services

Avenue Z is the AI-first agency - a digital marketing and PR company engineered to move fast. Trusted by leaders in consumer brands, tech, and finance, we power the earned, owned, and performance media channels driving influence.

The Associate, Client Services will serve as the strategic liaison between our internal teams and key clients, combining program management with account management to ensure project success and long-term client satisfaction on a limited portfolio of accounts. This role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of multi-project and/or multi-service programs while fostering strong client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring overall client retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the delivery of client programs, ensuring alignment with client goals and organizational objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for strategic discussions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of projects and services.
  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through additional services, upsell or cross-sell opportunities, contributing to strategic account growth. This can be conducted through regular strategic involvement and advising as well as quarterly or regular business reviews.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and retention, proactively addressing any challenges or roadblocks.
  • Track program status, budgets, and timelines, providing regular updates to both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • In office for at least 3 days per week based in Miami or Orlando.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work autonomously, build relationships with clients and to develop unique client focused solutions based on strong understanding of client business challenges and needs.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and drive results in a client-facing role.
  • Experience in identifying client growth opportunities and managing client expectations.
  • Skillful negotiator with experience in conflict resolution.
  • Ability to manage inter-company relationships and appropriately influence across departments internally to deliver results.
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, client services, client strategy or project management.
  • Familiarity with sales cycles, with a moderate quota or commission focus preferred.
  • Experience with HubSpot is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed quotas is preferred.
