Job description

OVERVIEW
Perfetti Van Melle (makers of Mentos, Airheads, Dentyne, Trident and Bubblicious!) is one of the world's largest manufacturers and distributors of confectionery and chewing gum with global brands that are being enjoyed in more than 150 countries worldwide. We're currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Associate Brand Manager to join our growing team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
This role offers the opportunity to own the executional heartbeat of Mentos, bringing strategy to life across relevant touchpoints. You will gain end-to-end brand experience, with direct impact on how consumers engage with Mentos across key seasonal moments. As the Associate Brand Manager, you will help shape the future of a global powerhouse brand with strong equity and significant runway for growth. This is a high-impact delivery role, responsible for translating brand strategy and seasonal tentpole priorities into best-in-class execution across digital, social, eCommerce, and retail touchpoints. You will play a critical role in ensuring Mentos shows up consistently and effectively across consumer occasions, retail environments, and owned platforms through ownership of executional excellence across key growth drivers, with a focus on digital management, asset deployment, and seasonal activation delivery. Key responsibilities include:
  • Influence decisions: Translate insights into clear, compelling recommendations and present to brand leadership
  • Drive Cross-Functional Alignment & Execution Excellence: Act as a key integrator across teams, ensuring all execution is aligned, timely, and consistent.
  • Enable Performance Tracking & Insight Generation: Support data-driven decision making through performance tracking and actionable insights, with a focus on seasonal and activation impact.
  • Lead key initiatives: Take ownership of high-impact projects across the base business, including product improvements and process optimization
  • Own Asset Development & Cross-Functional Toolkit Delivery: Lead the creation, management, and deployment of all brand assets, ensuring seamless execution across shopper, retail, and digital channels.
  • Lead Social & Digital Ecosystem Execution: Own Mentos' organic digital presence and content deployment, ensuring all channels reinforce seasonal tentpoles and occasion-led messaging.
  • Manage the business financially: Oversee brand budgets, ensuring disciplined spend, accurate forecasting, and strong partnership with finance

As an ABM, you'll get the best of both worlds: the ownership and accountability of a brand role, combined with the energy, speed, and creativity of a company built on fun. This is a place where your ideas move quickly from concept to shelf and where you can see your impact in consumers' hands every day.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 2-3+ years of experience in Brand Management, Digital Marketing, or CPG roles
  • Strong experience in social, digital content, or eCommerce execution
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to execution excellence
  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence across teams
