Job Description:
At Regions, the Compensation Analyst assists in the implementation and administration of compensation programs. Position focuses on administering defined procedures, analyses and report preparation.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Under direct supervision, administers Regions wage and salary administration programs
  • Creates and maintains job families, job summary descriptions and data maintained at the job level
  • Handles all administrative tasks relating to job creation, set up and recordkeeping
  • Performs job audits and researches pay practices and trends
  • Completes job evaluations to determine appropriate job classification in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
  • Provides analysis of pay structure, market-based grades, and geographic differentials
  • Recommends and implements associate pay structures under the guidance of manager or senior consultant
  • Performs job evaluations and assigns appropriate pay structure
  • Analyzes information to develop a conceptual understanding of job descriptions, management levels and organizational structure
  • Participates in salary surveys

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field

Preferences
  • Two (2) years of Compensation, Human Resources, or professional level banking experience

This role will support the revenue producing lines of business - Consumer, Corporate Banking Group and Wealth Management and will develop Power Point presentations based on insights gained from analysis.
This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense.
This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.

Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
