Snelling Staffing is looking for an accounting associate for a locally-owned company with years of experience serving the Baton Rouge area. The previous employee recently retired, so the company will be looking for another long-term fit to fill the role. This will be a full-time position working Monday-Friday from 8:00AM-5:00PM for $18 per hour depending on experience. The company is looking to hire immediately!!
Accounting Associate Duties:
  • Assisting Comptroller with basic accounting tasks
  • Aiding the billing department and creating invoices
  • Processing Payroll
  • Responding to all vendor inquiries in a timely manner
  • Reconciling vendor statements, research, and correct any discrepancies
  • Maintaining files and documentation accurately
  • Assisting in general admin duties including answering phones
Accounting Associate Requirements:
  • MUST have 3 years of previous accounting experience or 4-year degree in relevant field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word and Excel)
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks
  • Excellent communication skills while speaking on the phone
